I came across this great, personalized Christmas gift this year. This is a tutorial from the "Tip Junkie". I thought I would share because this is a fun project for your kids to do as well. You more than likely have most of these supplies on hand anyhow. Who doesn't love a personalized gift?? This is a great idea. Hope you enjoy!

Wood SNOWMAN Makeover!
I was searching high and low for "outdoor" Christmas Decorations on Craigslist. I came across an ad with this adorable snowman. From the pictures he looked adorable and even better than he was only $5.00! I jumped in the car and went to see him {and a few other things listed in the ad}... However, when I got there the adorable snowman looked completely different. He was outdated and had been an outdoor/front patio decoration for 10+ years. I hesitated and was a little disappointed, but then thought... Well, I'll vamp him up over the weekend and that's exactly what I did!

| UGLY! |
With a new coat of paint, a new scarf and a smaller hat he looked years younger. I'm loving him in our front entry way. His nose lights up the entire area and he is super cute. I'm so glad I decided to take him home!

Time Saver Mommy TIP | Getting your kids dressed in the morning!
Is it just my kids that hate getting dressed in the morning? My oldest (when she was in elementary school) would give me the hardest time about how "Cold" it was and refused to take off her warm PJ's to get dressed. SO, after many rough mornings of getting dressed I some how stumbled across a great idea and since then getting dressed became a piece of cake!
That's right... just simply toss their clothes in the warm dryer for 5 minutes, or less {just enough to warm them up...}. My daughter couldn't wait to hop in her warm school clothes... It saved me so much time and headache. She actually looked forward to getting dressed, major morning life saver for me! However, be careful the buttons get hot!

Mantel Decorations | DIY Project
Some quiet time - Oh, yes! Ten wonderful minutes to surf the internet for a new craft idea in mind... {not for long because... my 3 year is barreling down the hall}. However, I did get this far...
Jennifer
I was roaming around the net trying to find some ideas on how to display both of my daughter's art on the wall in a modern and cool way. I came across this site because she has a nifty and cleaver way to display her children's art in my kinda style. As, I scrolled through I came across this mantel also, what can I say "LOVE" from the roof top! Since I just painted my mantel, I think I will leave it alone- but just for a while. Anyhow, take a peek at this site: organizeyourstuffnow.com
Enjoy~
